Lets Meet Jakierra

My name is Jakierra Bennett, and I am a proud Atlanta native, born and raised in the heart of the city. I am a mother of four, a student, a leader, and—most importantly—a woman who believes deeply in the power of healing and community.

I am a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, a historic institution also attended by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks. I later continued my education at Clark Atlanta University, where I majored in Early Childhood Education. Currently, I am back in school pursuing a degree in Business, expanding my purpose and preparing to build lasting impact through entrepreneurship and leadership.

I am the founder of Healing Is the New Hustle, a movement created from lived experience and deep personal transformation. As a strong survivor of PTSD, anxiety, and postpartum depression, I understand firsthand how isolating life can feel when you’re silently struggling. My journey taught me that healing is not a weakness—it is strength. And it is not meant to be done alone.

Healing Is the New Hustle was created to serve my generation of women as a safe space to connect, grow, and evolve together. This is a community where we bond, travel, pray, support one another, and do the inner work necessary to become whole. We are redefining success—not by how much we grind, but by how well we heal.

I believe everyone deserves a village. Everyone deserves grace. And everyone deserves the opportunity to heal without judgment.

Healing is our new hustle.
